Study

This formed part of the solar wing of the medieval house and was rebuilt in the Elizabethan building of 1571 to 1580 as the eating parlour. The Georgian interior was inserted by a later George Lynn in the early 18th century.
The late GTH Capron, a Colonel with the Royal Engineers and High Sheriff of Northamptonshire, used this as his study. This was also the Dining Room for receptions and larger family gatherings.
